The compact and stylish Fujifilm FinePix F420 Zoom - complete with a robust metal body - has a swag of exciting features that are set to impress as well as stand out from the crowd.
Hanimex Senior Category Manager - Digital, Paul Rogers, said the FinePix 420 Zoom was the smallest camera in the range to include Fujifilm’s 4th Generation Super CCD HR (High Resolution) technology for ultra-high resolution images.
“The camera can realise 3 million effective pixels, producing 6 million recorded pixels,” Mr Rogers said.
“The FinePix F420 Zoom also incorporates a 3x optical zoom lens and 4.4x digital zoom, plus quality movie capture capability of 30 frames per second with sound.
“The Video Out socket allows fast and easy on-screen viewing on a television. The camera is also compatible with PictBridge, the industry standard for printing images from a digital camera without using a PC, making the process simpler and more efficient than ever.
“Other features include a voice memo recorder capable of storing up to 30 seconds of sound; Auto Focus; three colour mode settings in Standard, Black & White and Chrome; five Flash modes; 10 second self-timer capability; 1.8” LCD monitor; and a rechargeable battery with an option to use AAA batteries should it run low.
“The FinePix F420 Zoom is so compact that it will fit into any shirt pocket or clutch bag, without compromising its efficiency,” Mr Rogers said.
The FinePix F420 comes equipped with 16MB xD-Picture Card™, rechargeable Lithium-Ion (NH-20) battery and charger, USB cable, AV cable, strap, USB driver, FinePix Viewer and ImageMixer VCD2 for FinePix.
The Fujifilm FinePix F420 is expected to have a recommended retail price of $699 including GST, and will be available from mid February 2004.
