Fujifilm has introduced the impressive new compact FinePix50i digital camera that comes complete with a range of convenient new features set to delight early adopters of new technology.
Hanimex Product Manager, Louise Cummins, said the FinePix50i incorporated the popular MP3 music function that has the capacity to play up to 160 minutes of music downloaded from the internet or from CDs (on optional 128MB SmartMedia), which is relayed on stereo headphones easily accessed with a remote controller.
“The FinePix50i is also equipped with Fujifilm’s high performance 1/1.7 inch Super CCD (charged couple device) with 2.4 megapixels producing 4.3 million pixel image files (2,400 x 1,800 pixels) resulting in improved image resolution, signal-to-noise ratio and colour reproduction,” Ms Cummins said.
“The FinePix50i has the world’s slimmest ultra compact aluminium body in the two megapixel class. To put its size into perspective, it’s only about three-quarters the length of a cassette case.
“Other features include a 3.75x digital zoom; FinePixViewer software for easy access to internet services; and an audio recording function with nine hours capacity (when using the AC power adaptor and optional 128MB SmartMedia).
“A 30 second voice captioning function can accompany each image, and a sound-sync mode has also been included in the various shooting and playback modes provided.
Ms Cummins said accessories included a PictureCradle for convenient image transfer to a PC and also battery charging, AC power adaptor, rechargeable battery, shoulder strap, A/V cable, USB cable, headphone with remote controller, CD-ROM, USB driver, ExifViewer, DP Editor, Apple QuickTime 4.0, Video Impression, RealJukeBox Plus2 for Windows and MacMP3 for Macintosh.
The FinePix50i has a recommended retail price of $1,499 including GST.
